JRTC

Year 4: First & Second Semester

Advanced biblical studies, practical ministry training, and theological reflection, preparing students for life and leadership after seminary.

Year 4 marks the final stage of theological training at Jos Reformed Theological College, focusing on advanced studies and ministry preparation. In the first semester, students explore African Church History, begin learning Biblical Hebrew, and engage with foundational ideas in Philosophy. Practical courses like Homiletics, Covenant Theology, and the Theology of Addiction and Recovery equip students to preach, counsel, and serve with wisdom and compassion.

The second semester emphasizes integration and application. Students advance in Hebrew, study Christian Philosophy, and examine the relationship between Christianity and culture. They also explore the Intertestamental Period, sharpen their pastoral care skills in Pastoral Counseling, and complete a Thesis or Project that reflects their academic growth and ministry focus. This final year is designed to prepare students for faithful, informed, and effective service in the church and the world.
