JRTC

Year 3: First & Second Semester

Year 3 deepens students’ engagement with Scripture, theology, and global religions.

In Year 3 at Jos Reformed Theological College, students enter a more advanced stage of theological and biblical training. The first semester emphasizes the study of the Major and Minor Prophets, biblical interpretation through literary genres, and research and writing skills essential for ministry. Students also begin learning New Testament Greek and explore Medieval Church History, along with an introduction to African Traditional Religion and World Religions.

The second semester builds on this foundation with a strong focus on Eschatology and the Book of Revelation, as well as a thoughtful approach to Islamic Theology and Evangelism. Courses in Modern Church History, Evangelism and Missions, and Biblical Psychology round out the year, helping students think clearly, communicate faithfully, and minister effectively in a complex world.
